Frustration

I have a book in my head that I read a long time ago... It was one I kept for a long time and then got rid of- I am so sad b/c I keep replaying it over and over in my head but can't find it anywhere to buy! I love that book and read it many times...

I am getting ready to reread Wuthering Heights. I'm pretty excited; I used to looovvveee this book- since it's Edward and Bella's fav book, I just want to refresh my love of it.

Southern Kentucky BookFest

Today we went to the SOKY BookFest. There were tons of people there and it felt a little overwhelming trying to decide what I wanted to purchase. I ended up getting : Penny and the Punctuation Bee by MORIA ROSE DONOHUE, 2 of the The Black Lagoon books illustrated by JARED LEE, and Fiber Gathering: Knight, Crochet, Spin & Dye More Than 25 Projects Inspired by America’s Festivals by JOANNE SEIFF.

A Lion Among Men

Not so in love with this book. It ends with the same and more questions that Son of a Witch. I'm a little disappointed.

Midnight Sun

This is Twilight rewritten in the narrative of Edward. I love it. I really enjoyed the story this way. At first I didn't think I would want to read it since I already knew the story but it was great. The worst part is that b/c it got leaked it is an uncomplete version. I hope she decides to finish it!

Breaking Dawn

I finished the last book in the Twilight series. I liked the last book, especially towards the end. The beginning however was a little different. I really enjoyed the whole series and really want to go watch the movie.

Eclipse

The third book has now been read. One more to go. I can't wait to get my hands on it. These are SO good. I love them!!!!

New Moon

I'm such an addict. I'm so bad. Last night when Billy and I were going to bed I did it again... I got out my new book, that I hadn't even started to read, and opened it. The next thing I know the alarm is going off and Billy is getting out of bed. It was morning. I had stayed up all night, like a book junkie flipping through the pages without a concern for the time. I just need the fix of the next page. I later slightly regretted it, the book was so good a true page turner for me. I really enjoyed it and would suggest the Twilight Series to anyone.

Big Read

This is the week of free things!!!!!! One of my favorite things in fact. The Big Read is going on right now and we went to get our copy of the current book- To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. You can find more on The Big Read here. I haven't started it yet because I'm still reading The Golden Compass; but I'm pretty excited. I'm going to join a local discussion and possibly one online. The Golden Compass

I finished this book and it seem to drag on and on forever. The book has no real ending, as it continues into the next book. I am, however, not sure that I will read the next one. While the story is much better than the book, it is still sluggish and oftentimes hard to concentrate on.

Twilight

This book was such a page turner. I really couldn't put it down! I would highly recommend it!

I just finished this book... it was good, I liked it. One more in the series to go!

Essays and Sketches of Mark Twain

Paige asked me to read an extract from this book. It was extracts from Adam's journal... It was so funny that I went on to read extracts from Eve's diary, which was not as funny. I would recommend it. It is a quick funny read and is thoughtful insights in to the brains of men and women.

Son of a Witch

I did not love this book. It was a sequel to the book Wicked. But I felt that it didn't really end and parts of it were really rushed. Little was sometimes explained and some plot movements went to fast. There is another sequel... so I guess I'm going to get it so that I can see if it ends the story.
