Starbucks
Today, Paige and I took our own mugs to Starbucks.... It was pretty cool... I got my coffee in my own mug, felt good about not having to throw away another container, and got a discount for bringing it. I love my Fuzzy Duck mug!!!!

Ecozone- Ecoballs
The strangest thing... I don't know about this product, but am tempted to try it out. You use these balls instead of laundry detergent. I have read a few reviews about them and they are said to be just as effective but eco and skin friendly. However, they cost about $60 for three and you have to take them out of the wash as soon as it is done. On the upside, though, they last for 1000 washes... Interesting.
Plastic Again....
I am reading all these articles about reducing plastic use and why we should try to reduce our plastic use (see photo). The only question I have is how is this even possible. Almost everything I buy has plastic on or in it. I mean, EVERYTHING. I'm unclear how Fake Plastic Fish, Envirowoman and others do it. Where do they get shampoo? Do they use ketchup? Mayo? Do they eat out? Do they eat meat?

Plastic Bag Ban
Interesting bit of information. There are now some places around the world that are banning plastic bags. Some are charging fees for those continuing to use plastic bags. To read more about it go to npr and National Geographic.
Produce Bags
Make-A-Bag is a blog I stumbled upon today while thinking about produce bags. I want to get some so that I don't have to use the plastic ones to get my produce. On the site they have a lot of cute bag patterns. The produce ones are something I think I could make and would like to use.
